Post Show Review

We had an excellent 3 day show at Farnborough on 21st, 22nd and 23rd March. Visitor numbers were similar to previous years, perhaps slightly higher, we had many new prospects and existing customers visit our stand.

Wednesday was the busiest day, Thursday for a last day was much busier than previously and Tuesday was perhaps the quietest day of the whole show.

Many visitors to the stand signed-up for a store tour at Cirrus Laser and I have been welcoming visitors almost on a daily basis for their tour of our latest 6kW laser and our secondary operations such as press brake folding, laser marking, VMC machining and our fastener inserting machine (Pemserter).

Again, the water jet has been popular with visitors as we are cutting a few hundred kilo’s of flint for a new Cinema façade in Lewes, there will be more news on this item next month. We have booked our stand again for 2018 and this will be in the new purpose built permanent structure, so this year was the last year of tent accommodation with all the wind, rain and snow problems that the tent has thrown at exhibitors for the past 5 years. The new structure was under construction during the show and looks to be a marvellous new venue for the show which next year reverts back to February (6th to 8th for your diaries).
