About Cirrus Laser

Cirrus Laser is a sub-contract laser and water jet cutting company based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, with ISO 9001:2015 certification. Our customer base is mainly located within an 80 mile radius of our factory but we do have customers spread over England, Scotland, Wales, France and Eire. Our customers are from a variety of industrial sectors from Motor Sport, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Scientific, Universities, Petro-chemical, Signs, Machine Manufacturers, Sheet Metal Companies, Machinists and High Vacuum Chamber manufacture. Sussex is a centre of excellence for the manufacture of high vacuum components, assemblies and products and we have a large customer base for which we use our laser’s and water jet for cutting of stainless steel, rare metals and Mu metal.

Currently, due to Covid-19, we are running our facility on a 10 hour / 4 day week basis, allowing us to reduce travel times and improve the efficiency of the factory floor. All of our staff are highly trained individuals and the collective knowledge of the whole company allows us to push forward the boundaries of laser and water jet cutting. Our flatbed cutting laser’s are financed using 60 month operating leases. This has the advantage of always having the most technically advanced machines for laser cutting, the lease includes servicing and warranty so our costs are known and fixed, enabling maximum efficiency at the lowest price for our customers.

Not only 2D laser cutting but also 3D laser cutting and welding and dedicated laser marking either on flat or tubular parts, additionally we have 2D water jet cutting, press brake folding and machining on our vertical machining centre (VMC). After cutting, folding and machining we can produce finishes to faces or edges using linishers, sanders, edge chamfer / radius machine or our rumbler. Finally we can dimensionally check parts on our co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM) either using the zoom camera or the alternative Renishaw touch probe and produce reports in compliance with our ISO 9001:2015 certification. So not just a laser sub-contracting ‘job shop’ but a one-stop manufacturing facility offering competitive pricing, quality and delivery.
