KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of ERP system desirable

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

JOB DESCRIPTION: IOL

  • Prepare and process sales orders
  • Raising Job sheets
  • Customer service and accounts
  • Reception
  • Marketing- Scanning and filing electronically high volume of documents - Archiving

Respond to enquiries for quotes or orders by phone, fax, email or in person or the occasional letter

  • Email received - Save if any drawings into the CAD system then forward for quoting to designated sales executives
  • Clarify if the product has been made previously, if not then send direct to sales executives
  • Phone – take information down and follow the same process as email

All new clients details need to be captured in Vista eg, delivery address, contact details etc
Raise sales order – if the client is new to the business and do not have an account then a Pro forma needs to be raised. Once payment received then job channeled to production
If the existing client the sales order and job sheet is risen then goes straight to production.

  • Deal with enquires relating to orders and accounts
  • Allocate payments from the client to their accounts within ERP system
  • Process credit card payments
  • Produces letters of guarantee to the customer
  • Produce a monthly aging report on sales ERP system
  • Deal with face to face customers
  • Host guests visiting
  • Monitor stationary stock levels and order where necessary
  • Order PPE equipment where needed
  • Order workshop paraphernalia
  • Additional assistance where needed
  • Prepare Brochures, marketing stationary for the road shows and liaise with marketing strategist
  • Scanning and filing electronically high volume of documents
  • Archiving
